Also.....

Try and find one form a 1970 slant six, 318, or 383 2bbl car, they use the same valance and support brackets. These are not T/A specific.

With everyone and their brother cloning the cars above into R/Ts, it should not be too hard to find the correct parts.  ;)

I need that green rear valance,i have an original paint 71 that has a rear valance with some damage.
Is it for sale?

 I have a 1970 in shipment now comming from CA It's an original 6 cyl car but I want the R/t style with the cutouts? It's shcedualed to be here on the 28TH if you can wait that long maybe we could work something out?

OK ,took a we while but i now have a original rear valance and the original brackets for my T/A  ,what i now need is all the fixings , i need the valance to bracket and rear quarter fixings/body fixings  and the bracket to body fixings , does any one know where to the the best correct stuff

 p.s i think he still has that  71 green valance , but the paint wasnt the best if you were after original paint

The green valance is a 73 or 74 unit. It has the tag bracket that moved the tag out to line up with the tag light in the bumper. 73 and 74 Challenger bumpers were moved out and had a bumper filler installed to fill the gap. This was done to meet new crash standards for the day. If you remove the tag mount it will be the same as a 71-72 unit. If you have no worry about date codes you can remove the rear center bracket and turn it into a 70 unit. Chrysler used the same sheet metal valance piece and just welded different brackets to it to do whatever they needed.
