Flowmaster rattle
« on: August 20, 2008 - 12:14:54 AM »
I have 40 series flowmasters behind headers, and when I got on it today, I heard the left one make a nasty rattle inside the muffler. They have about 2500 miles on them. Is this common. Only does it when I get on it hard.  :burnout:

I broke one loose after my last trip to the dragway, didn't have any backfires either.  First thing the muffler shop asked.

Tom

They replaced in no charge.

My divider (welded rod seperating both pipes) broke loose and i drove like that for a whole season thinking i needed mufflers, turned out to be that.
