I know its not a Cuda or Challenger BUT.....
« on: August 20, 2008 - 06:45:05 PM »
Thought you mopar fiends would like to see what I bought as a new daily driver. Its got a new, bored, crate 360 and has had a lot of new parts put into and that come with it. I only live two miles from work so I'm not too concerned with gas mileage obviously. I just had to have something cool to drive on a daily basis instead of my beater 89 Buick Park Avenue. Sorry for the small pics. These are the only ones I have of it just yet. These are the original ones that were on Craig's list when it was advertised.

Thanks everyone. It looks better in the pictures than it does up close. The paint job was basically thrown on to protect all the replaced body panels and isn't that great. The interior will need a lot of work although he threw in a lot of the materials. The reason I pursued this car is that it has been in the guys family since the early 70's and used to be his daily driver through high school. I knew it had a lot of love in it and wasn't one that he just bought as a clunker, threw on some panels, and tried to flip it. The motors a little more than I wanted in a daily driver ( I was trying to get this other guys 318 CHarger, but he wierded out on me). Supposedly he has tripped mid 13's with it. But, like I said, I work close to my house so it shouldn't be too much worse on gas as long as I don't get on it at every stop sign, lol. I was looking at the new issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines with the red 68 XV motorsports Charger. That thing looks so sweet that it got me thinking that maybe I will paint mine bright red with a vinyl top (it originally had one), and add the rt stripes on back. That way it would match my Cuda. On the other hand, I have always wanted a triple black Charger. Which way do you guys and gals think I should go? My signature picture disappeared so here's a pic of my Cuda again to give you an idea of the matching color scheme.
