PS pressure line for a small block with a Federal pump
« on: August 25, 2008 - 07:20:56 AM »
I got a Federal servo pump, not a Saginaw. Apparently, the pressure line to be replaced isn't stock for a E-body:

Year One lists this as a line for 70-72 B & E-bodies with a small block and a Federal pump:

http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?pid=FD323&c=0&e=0&cat=1&hid=119AB5119&trk=

It doesn't really look like it would fit, but does it?
Who here got the same set-up as I do, and what pressure line do you use?

It kinda looks like you installed the hose upside down

Found a tech article about servo pumps:
http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/pspumps.shtml

And a website that claims to have a hose for my set up, part# 80119 seems to be the ticket to end my power steering woes:

I can see why you would think that. :D
But, not so many other practial ways to do it.
