I no longer own a Barracuda.
« on: August 25, 2008 - 05:34:47 PM »
I just did the one thing I thought I'd never do.  Signed the title over to the new owner today.  He picks her up on Sunday.  It's bittersweet, to say the least.  She's going to a good home, the new owner and his entire family are Mopar people, but I'm gonna miss her.

I can't afford to restore her, and probably wouldn't be able to for several more years.  I lost my job recently, and couldn't afford to keep paying insurance and taxes on a car that would just sit in my driveway.  It was a tough decision.

Sorry to hear about that, sometimes "you gotta do what you gotta do".  Life has handed me some pretty bitter lemons before, too.

Do you still have the Wagon?

Still got the wagon, but that's for sale, also.

You know, you can pull the tags off your cars, cancel insurance and let them set. They dont cost anything that way.

Go up in the attic, down in the basement, and in the garage and closets , so you can look for other things to sell off.

It's sad when people always figure they got to sell their car first.

Best of luck 2 u

Sad news.  I hope times will change for the better for you soon!
Hope you will continue to hang around at CCC, because there will be a Barracuda for you some day later.

I hope this works out so you can one day get your dream car.

Probably won't find another one soon.  Plan is to move to Florida next year, go back to college, and once I graduate and find a job, then I'll start looking for a replacement.
