Just a relaxing Sunday cruise...............
« on: August 25, 2008 - 07:14:29 PM »
took a 160 mile round trip to a small town car show in the Pocono's on Sunday.  We planned on crusing at 65 mph the entire way but that did not last long.  :naughty:

Looks like you had a great time!

I know the feeling, cruising at 65, yeah right.LOL

I took a cruise(220 mile rd trip)down to CT over the weekend to visit MOPER and touched the north side of some triple digit speeds occasionally.  Rt 90 is like a NASCAR race.LOL

Glad you are back up and running.

I wonder why historians call the 73-74 Challengers the "sad face" Challengers.  If I were the historian I would have called them the "Bite you in the A :swear: Challenger.

My radio doesn't work.  Since it was primarily a race car since 2000 it didn't matter.  Now on the street up around 85-90 @ 4 grand it sounds so sweet I still don't care...

Looks like a great day. You should be very happy. I lived in that area my whole life( first 48 Years anyway) and you could count the days when you had a nice blue sky in the summer on one hand. Can't tell you how many shows and cruises got rained out when I lived there. I remember one year we had 28 days of rain in the month of August.
Car looks GREAT.
