Bought the 543-1/2 inch stroker kit too. Heads were $900 bucks with the stroker kit it came in at $3000. Takes another $3000 to start. Oil pan, external oil lines, Msd ignition, rebalancing and checking, valves undercut. Main and head studs, main girdle, swinging oil pump pickup nothing that I can't do at home except the valve undercut. New retainers and springs to match the cam, steel washers for the springs and a good set of roller rockers and shafts and shims. Yah it will take another 3 grand.
