In a word

no

I believe that would rub on the wheelwell lip.  At least on the driver's side

(and you need to fix your poll.  it just says fit fit)

I'm sure that size tire would work on an 8" rim.

I have 275/60s on an 8 inch rim with 4 1/2" bs on my Cuda, and it's tight on both sides of the tire. I think the 10 inch rim would rub with no suspension mods.

I ran 275/60/15s with 4" backspacing, 15x8 and was forced to get some super stock springs to keep the tires off the 1/4s. I run 295s on 18x9s now with no modifications (stiffer sidewall)

A 275 on a 10" rim will have a 12 inch section width. Awfully wide there. Have you moved the springs at all?

I'm a fan off stiff side walls too, I was looking to put a 18x10 on the rear with a 295/35. I haven't measured up any back spacing yet, but from the sound of things I may need to move the leaf spring. How about 18x9 1/2, do you think this will fit without suspension mods?

May need a little 1/4 panel rolling if i did that on my car. (18x9.5)

On my 74 'cuda I rolled the wheel openings up, so the tires do not rub. In the past I used the 3,300 lb.SS's with the 340 and slicks, but since I replaced them with MP 440 Cuda springs and 440/727 auto. it rides 1.5" lower(or stock). The 275-60R x 15x8" with 4.5 offset, street tires do not rub either. A rear sway bar keeps it centered. Also,if you were to swap in a 1968 B body housing and offset rear shackles you would gain the room (3/4"each side) for the 10" x 5.5 offset rims. But then you would need the MP 3,600 lb. SS's for taller tires or slicks. A problem with the SS's is the shorter front segment, they will need longer front hangars, and although the hangars are thicker they are going to flex. Not the best for road racing, but adequate for the drags.

My 74 has 8" rims with 275-60-15s in the rear.  I am using air shocks, but it won't rub.  No space to spare, but no rubbing.

Please don't use the air shocks, because they tear up the upper shock holes.

That would be bad...They aren't my first choice, but then again I ran them on every Mopar I had back in the 70's.  Maybe that's why they are so scarce today??   :smokin:

Hey Dave,  There's a wheel/tire combo. section that might help.  :dunno:   I'd roll those quarters if ya' gotta'. I like the "stuffed look" too. Or mayby check out the "member rides" section.Just find a pic of one you like and go from there.     Hope the 'cuda is O.K.  :sadwavey:

All cars vary. I have had a 275/60-15 on a 15x10 with a 5.5" BS on a 73 'Cuda. It fit but was very close. Close enough to be close but not close enough to worry. As I said, all cars vary so although it fit on my 73, it may not fit on Joe Blogg's 73. Cass @ Dr Diff said the differences are amazing. In all his years of springs, tires, disc brakes and rear ends he has come across hundreds of various setups and differences in factory cars. I believe it's 13" of room back there, with a 12" SW you'll be playing it close with 1/2" each side, that's too close for comfort, surely?
