Ladies & Gentleman, my calling card!
« on: August 27, 2008 - 05:03:05 PM »

This is my 1974 Barracuda, its got a 1972 J440T, Mr. Gasket V gate shifter, 4.30 axle ratio (for now), front and rear factory sway bars, stock front discs, and 275R-15" back tires, or 29"x10" slicks. One owner car, built 11-13-73, 3rd. rebuilt motor/trans. in 1986. I use a Summit's 2.5"  exhaust system kit with turbo's by the tank.

Welcome to the site.  Nice looking big block you have there.  Any photos of the car it's wrapped in?  :poopoke:

Yep, I'm to blame for it. I should have ordered the blue Cuda instead. But the coins weren't there in those days, so I spent the extra on the stereo, tires, brakes, HD suspension with sway bars, and mags. Gas shortages of 1974 made be get the 318cu.in., with 2.76 axle ratio, in order to drive out west for good.  plus, now I like flying below the radar with the 440 in a plain brown package. "all part of the plan".

Nice car!  Not too many original paints left.  Looks great, Did you retain the original drive train?

Welcome Aracer

Nice '74!!!

What's up with the Barracuda emblems on the doors?  '74s came with emblems on the quarters.

(I love the '74 E body Plymouths)

:2thumbs:  Welcome to the site!  I like the stealth look of your Barracuda.  Beautiful engine compartment too.  How many miles do you have on your '74?  Did you remove the front rubber bumper guards or add them?
