Go ahead and get them Squeaky.  Your sig says wally  (426 :money:)   :roflsmiley:   I know it bites. As little as I use my car and really dont travel far with it, monroe gasmatics for 16 a piece was a good choice for me :2thumbs:

:roflsmiley: I know Ive become so cheap..  :misbehaving: I found a set of Eddies for $300 @ the Paddock. Man, its $500 for a fender, 300 for shocks, dash is gonna be pricey. Im gonna wind up doubling what i have in the car one of these days  :money:

I'm running the KYB's on mine.  Many people don't like them but at 25-30 bucks a piece they do the job for me.

Tom

They can get harsh on rough city streets but evrywhere else they seem to work nice, corners don't seem to bother them.

i spent the dollars cause i want some adjustment, so i bought the qa1,s they are sweet i dont need more than 5 clicks,on the front and maybe 2 clicks on the back, they have a total of 12 clicks of adjustment, i used to have kyb,s as they are a good shock for the money, depends on your budget!and how much adjustment you want

I concur, the SRT/10 runs QA1s and Madeline will as well. Great shock with easy adjustment, and, well, the simple fact that they adjust at all! I run 10 up front on the Night Runner and 6 out back. A good option when you need that kind of flexibility in selection of setting.  :2cents:

sorry, I thought this was about good shocks...not cheap ones
I`ve used koni`s on several different cars and always liked them. They make cars corner lovely :cooldancing:   I must say I was pretty impressed by Bilstein shocks too, but I don`t know if they are available for e- bodies.

I cant see blowing a ton of money on shocks. I do want good shocks, but affordable. I have Poly suspension bushings, so maybe thats where my harder bumps come from.....

Wally, Just took the original shocks off the front.  :scared:  I'm happy with the KYB's. For the money they are a decent shock. I had the front-end rebuilt with poly too. It rides and handles a lot better then it did. :burnout:  :2thumbs: I live in PA . And you know how the roads are here.  :eek4:
