did you check the shifter manually under the car to make sure it was in park....  :working:
also you can take a screwdriver turn the key to on and arch the screwdriver on the big post on the relay under the hood and touch the small terminal posts to the left of the relay.... see if it starts :working:

If your neutral safety switch is unhooked, you can ground that portion of the relay. Thats what i did..  :working:

Bad starter then. Arcing the relay takes everything else out of the picture, it even bypasses the neutral safety switch. Go ahead, ask me how I know! :scared:

Well, what's the consensus? Bad starter? I do not see any way that i can possibly get the starter out! The headers just aren't going to allow it. What do i do?

Unbolt the headers and move them out of the way.  And if you don't already have a ministarter, it's time to get one.

if you don't hear the relay then the starter isn't the problem

When i turn the key to try to start the car, the relay does NOT make any sound and like i said before, it won't jump at the relay with a screwdriver either. I definately do not want to go through all of the trouble of pulling the starter if i don't have to.

Old school what two terminals are you jumping on your relay mounted on the firewall?
It should be the large one coming from the battery and the small one just under it going to the starter.
Do they spark when you jump them?
