It looks like you need to hook up a recovery bottle.  If I'm not mistaken you need to hook a rubber hose to the nipple where the radiator cap is and run that hose to the recovery bottle.  This will prevent it from leaking because when the antifreeze gets hot it will expand and boil over thus making it leak.  Should fix the problem.

Wow all ur advice is great. Befor I came into work I put on the reserve container and we're gonna try it out once I get home once again thanks !!

Next thing we gotta work on are the gauges gas, temp, speed, for some reason they won't mar I bought a new velocity cable connected it and nothing so that's next on the agenda as far as the other gauges either find someone to do it or pick up some new gauges and install them still debating with my pops about that

alot of electrical problems .... now ...

panel gauges dont work ..... just got a new velocity cable ... transmition is going into the shop and they said that might fix that issue ..

one thing i will add ... i take special pride in the way me and my dad decided on how to paint the car ... for sure it was gonna be Plum Crazy but we wanted our car to stand out from the other dozens and dozens of plum crazy Challengers ....

and these are the small touches we came up with

if you look up at other challengers its hard to find ones that have this painted usually its kinda comoed with in the paint  ... i found one on ebay but it was white ... never really liked White on Plum

unfortunetly this is the only pic that shows the other part we decided to paint black

my dad came up with the idea and i was sold when he mentioned it .... when it came down to paint day he had second thought and suggested we paint the entire car one color ... but i decided against it cuz i like the first idea of the hood snouts and side fenders black ... luckily i was right and it came out great

the dude that helped us paint it suggested we also paint the 4 side light frames black and it also looks great ....

Cool project

My father in law restored a 1971 R/T Challenger back in the late 80's.
He also had the quarter side scoops and side mirrors painted black.
He basically got the car for free out of Arizona in a multi car trade deal back when the old Mopars weren't bringing a whole lot of money.
He was more of a 50's Ford/Mercury guy and had a large collection of them and didn't drive the restored Challenger much although he did think it was a very cool car, it mostly sat in the garage for many years and was rarely driven..... my wife and I took it out on occasion.

He passed away about 2 years ago and my wife now owns the car.

I also have an original plum crazy 1971 R/T Challenger.
Mine is a 4 speed, the wife's is an automatic, both cars have 440 sixpack engines.

Ask them if they changed the
Shifter shaft seal
kick-down shaft seal
dip-stick tube o-ring
all 3 easy to do while the trans stays in the car.

Front pump outer o-ring, would be the next likely suspect because it is below fluid level. But this one requires pulling the trans to change it.  They would have changed you more money.

Wow, For less than that, I get all the stuff to convert an auto to a 4-speed.

Hope they fix it for you, no charge this time.
