Tonight on CNN the headline said "McCain taps Governer Sarah Palin".  :roflsmiley: Am I the only one who finds that funny? A few minutes later they changed it to "McCain picks Governer Sarah Palin". Maybe I'm just too dirty minded.

Too bad she's not the one running for president.   :stirpot:

Perhaps she can teach the old dog some new tricks!

I'm sure that he has not overlooked her other assets, considering his past.  :stirpot:

Gotta sneaky suspicion she's not into it...  Strikes me as a straight arrow.

There is a different mentality among the folks up there.  My younger daughter in law is AK born and raised.  Her Pop helped get her elected as gov.

That's fine, but for anyone on this board that owns their own business (like me), keep in mind that your small business taxes will probably double with a Democrat in office.

Not knowing much about her yet, but I think she's a good pick, as for the democraps,,, has anyone else noticed that the economy started sliding down soon after Nancy and the democraps took control     :clueless:   Don't blame everything on W, he's simply signing the bills that are put before him.  McCains a good one,,, look at it this way,, in all his years in the senate ZERO, $0.00 nada none earmarks  and osamaobame in his short time over 94million,  so you tell me who spends foolishly and who doesnt

Taxes will be a good thing if you make under $150,000 a year and are a democrat. Let the corporations and their henchmen lobbyists   who have bought and paid for our congress the last 8 years pay the bills for  a while and give the middle class some slack for once.   :stirpot:

You members who are favoring the donkeys need to understand that the higher costs of doing business will be passed off to us, yhe consumers in higher prices.  Also understand that someone is going to have to pay for all of their wonderful programs, and once again that comes down to us in the form of higher taxes.  Finally, the donkeys have no clue about how to manage our security! If Obama wins we willsuffer MORE 911s - only worse!!!

From what Ihave heard Sarah is an excellent choice for VP.  A much better ticket than the donkeys are presenting us with - my  :2cents:.

I don't reckon I have ever seen a terrorist here in the southeast. If we ever did, we would know how to take care of him. Who really profits from war?  :stirpot:  :poopoke:

Sorry to hijack this thread, but in answer to your questions.

1.  Do you really know what a terrorist looks like?  If so, please come down here to Miami and point them out to us.

2.  One large group of individuals who profit from war are the employees of the companies that make the products soldiers use in the conduct of war.

3.  Ask the soldiers who they believe has been and will be best for the security of our country.

Remember elephants never forget and are very protective of their own.
