To me the ultimate black billboard car is:

Hemi Orange
No v-top
Painted grille and lower valence insert
Painted mirrors
Orange/black interior

Hemiken:

Not biased.  I don't love the combination I stated because that's what my car happens to be, I was just lucky enough to find a car that happens to be exactly what I would have ordered in 1971 (except the auto tranny - soon to be Keislered).  I used to own a B5 blue AAR, because back in 1999 they weren't easy to find and I was set on a restored matching numbers 4-speed without V-top, and I found it for a reasonable price.  B5 blue is about 15th on my list of favorite AAR colors.  I sold it when I was out of work in 2003.  I would have emptied my retirement account to keep it if it had been EK2, EV2, FC7, EW1, FE5, TX9, or FY1.  This 71 will be with me until I die.  When the right color combo comes along you should hold in to it for dear life.
