Greetings!
« on: August 30, 2008 - 02:43:22 AM »
Just joined this forum today and wanted to say hello!

I own a 70 AAR Cuda that I've had since 1985.   It's a Canadian car ( Y7 ) with rare options including vinyl top, rear window louvers, front & rear rubber bumpers, racing mirror and high impact color ( Lemon Twist Yellow )

Car is a driver and has about 125,000 miles.   It's an older restoration done in the early 90's and most parts are original.   I have to replace my entire brake system because they finally have wore out after 38 years.

Thanks for listening and have a great weekend!

I'll have to take some more pictures in the future but for now these will have to do.  All these photo's were taken at this years "Moparfest" in New Hamburg, ON.   I don't know who took these pictures but they got me entering the grounds on Sunday morning.

Very nice and welcome.  I've always liked the mystique of the AAR's.

I think most newbies have the same reaction - I know I did.  The way I handled it was to use the "Show unread posts since last visit"  and "Show new replies to your posts" links.  I spend a lot of time on here - I stay connected most of the day at work, checking the links periodically.  I look at what I want, then click on "Mark all messages as read."  Generally, the most pages of unread posts I'll see is about six - usually more like three - at the beginning of the day, then I keep it under two most of the rest of the day.  Otherwise, you'll never keep up.   :2thumbs:
