My wife is decent about the amount I invest in my car. She fully understands that unlike daily drivers, my call holds value and is somewhat of a savings account if I ever decide to sell it. I just invested a fair amount into my engine and she barely whimpered. About a month after the engine was finished, she mentioned she'd like to get hardwood floors in our foyer, dining room and kitchen. I said wasn't sure we should get into the investment right now and she looked at me and said "excuse me"? I knew full well what she meant and we have had two estimates. It's the tradeoff.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I had the same exact thing.
First I bought my cordoba and the wife said she wanted new floors.
I said OK, I started saving but then bought my challenger.
She said now I want my floors!!!
I said OK and started saving again.
BUT, I can't drive around without a/c here in south florida, and with all the old people driving I have to be able to stop on a dime so I needed power disc brakes so there went the floor.
Now she's getting mad so I said the floor is next.
BUT, in went the chally for the 9 month resto.
She said, look MF, or something to that effect- the garage is now empty, we can move everything into the garage and get the floor done.
Being Loraina Bobbitt is her idol, I agreed.
She's got the new floor, and I got purple haze.
Oh, I still have my private parts too.
