Good deal, and thanks folks.

The story here is that I've had these things growing outside my garage since I got here, about a year back. They looked like something I shouldn't be mowing over, but a couple of days ago was the first time they actually bloomed.

In a similar vein a little woody shrub that poked up before the first mowing this year has turned out to be a crepe myrtle.
