i picked up an older mallory coil,it is square with attached coil wire coming out of unit. has mounting bracket on back,no numbers but says magspark on bottom. question is which pin is + and which pin is - ?

I had one as well , I thought there was an ID on them somewhere , too long ago to remember which terminal was which though

If the coil is wired up incorrectly it will still work however it puts out a weaker spark, if not sure wire it up and test the output voltage, not with your finger either.
