Well there were "No Slicks" allowed at the street nights in Vegas either. After going there a few times, I found out that was just a suggestion but many people ran them, so I picked up a set. Never had an issue, I ran a driveshaft loop which is all that was required..no problems! The 15s would be an advantage at the track (weight/tire selection), however I'd consider a more track friendly setup with them to help out the e/ts. I liked having 100% street tires and 100% track tires since you get the best of both worlds on drivability.
I 60' at 1.9sec, my car isn't all that fast. But of course zero traction issues, I like having "too much tire" (slicks) than having to push or play with traction (d/rs or street tires).
