my project is going rather slowly, I just moved it to Southern CT with a bunch of parts, and hopefully by the end of tommorow the whole project will be in my friends garage for storage.  I've been concentrating on finishing my 300 the past 2 months and it looks like I'll have it on the road for the first time in 2 years in late Sept.  I'm hoping to carry the momentum into the Challenger and maybe even have it in my favorite body shop this winter.  I'm also in the beginning stages of designing and making a 13" x 1.25" bolt on disc set utilizing wilwood discs and Viper Calipers, but keeping the STOCK offsets.  Yeah, I'm going with 17" wheels...

OK, now you hijacked your own thread?

BTW: I still think YOUR car is *****in' with either rim choice....

Moving stinks, my wife is trying to convince me to move and I'm fighting it a bit.  I was in CT a couple weekends ago with my car, there are lots of old cars down there!

i voted 15. they look awesome on your car, classic muscle with a race feel.

not that i don't like bigger wheels on muscle cars, in fact i'm planning on 18s for mine (in black).

here's an idea, if you like the look of the torque thrusts but prefer the performance of the foose wheels,
you could get the 17s painted like the 15s. powder coated centers and brushed rims. here's a rough chop for ya, and one with white letter tires

I just evened the score, equal votes for both 17" and 15".

Although I like the performance advantage of the 17", your car just looks wicked mean with the 15" rims.  It looks racey with the bigger tires in back, more to the "T/A" image that your car portrays.

You not getting rid of one set or the other are you?  Keep both and switch them out every so often to give some personality change.  I have like 4 sets of rims for my car: original 14" steels, 14" Keystone Sunspoke III wires, 14" Magnum 500s, and 15" Keystone Klassics.  I can't bear to get rid of them for fear I may want them back to give the car a different look.  :2cents:

I voted for 15's due to this:
Tough choice.  I like both but in this case, I think the 15" TQ's look better due to the color contrast

But the pic that Aaron Beck posted of the larger TQ's made me rethink it and would do 17's in a style very close to that. 

I'm surprised no one here suggested rolling on 22's  :roflsmiley:

I don't think double dueces will fit with stock suspension pieces, but I could be wrong.  I definately won't ever find out either.LOL

I like the benefits of 17's like being able to run larger brakes, but I can't find a wheel that I like on the e-bodies in 17 so I have to go with 15's.
