Whats it worth and where to list it?
« on: September 02, 2008 - 01:42:25 PM »
I have a 1970 plymouth barracuda gran coupe 383 4-speed that needs restored. The car runs and drives and was a daily driver 4yrs ago.As far as I know it is a matching numbers car. The vin shows it is a Gran coupe and a 383 2bbl car.I would consider selling or trading the car, but would like to know what it is worth first.

The car has been in my friends family since early 80's.They say they know the car is #'s matching but you know how that is.The fender tag is missing lost when the engine was rebuilt and under the hood was painted. The int. is org.seats  need covering, has overhead console, but no console in the floor. The outside of the car is purple with the rallye hood. The grill is cracked in the middle. The only rust I see in the body is in the trunk lid.The car is in pretty good shape overall.

Build sheet might be in the front buckets or under the springs in the rear seat.  That will help the value of the car if it is there.

Unless you find the build sheet, that lost fender tag will hurt the value as there will be no way to verify options but matching #'s help alot too

Oh, I almost forgot: :useless:

This is the what's it worth section so if it does go in the bella direction, it is in the appropriate section anyway.
