I got turned on to Jerry Reed from Smokey and the Bandit when I was a kid (of course).  Never been a fan of country music as a whole, but he was one I always liked.  His personality was what really stood out as a kid and he seemed like a fun guy to hang out with.  This was definitely sad news.  :angelwings:

Sad news. He was a good country guy.

Thinking of Jerry takes me back to my younger days when everything was simple and easy.

Rest peacefully, Jerry.

Sad news. He was definintely a funny guy in Smokey & the Bandit. I loved it when he got beat up by all the bikers, was sitting in his rig all tore up, looked up with a huge grin on his face and then in the next scene you see him running over all the motorcycles with his tractor trailer!! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: Rest in peace!
