I like it as do 75% of the other people. Wonder why other folks don't? Not original enough? Neither is the car. I say go for it.

That one looks a lot more functional and aggressive, but I like the proportions of the original.

Like almost every post and thread on any forum, it's opinion, nothing more, nothing less. Who's wrong and who is right? No one. ;)
I like it, a little on the large side but it's borderline and goes well with the obviously modified car.

Not for me.  But you are going for more air induction then go for it.  I think your car looks awesome the way it is.  But functionality is what your going for then that is what you will need.  I say stick with orig parts from Mopar.  Not a 72-74 Challenger Shaker was ever made.  But orig parts made my Mopar that could have been put on a older Challenger like your car ect.  Like a wrecked T/A and someone got the hood and put it on an newer Challenger ect.  Kinda like what you have now.  That is just me though.  Carl is correct, the only one it matters to is you bro.    :2cents:

The scoop looks taller than the original for sure. I would only go this way if you plan on spending more time at the track than on the road. Seeing over it might be a problem around right turns.   :grinyes:
