There is a whole range of colors.
Several people with them.
Don't know exactly how many 383's were made.
There isn't a break down of the engines exactly, that I know of .

That would mean about 8 cars.   There is probabaly close to that known.
I feel it has to be a few more than that.  383 is pretty common after all.

I didn't register either.  What registries?
I know there are more than 3 barracuda M46's because I know of that many.

yellow, green, red, orange, blue, brown, purple,Havn't seen a rainbow one yet.

Hey, we have kind of hijacked here.

There is a good place for talking specifics about these cars and it is the Classic cuda's and challengers galore.

I would very much like to know about the car that is for sale in this ad.
Sorry, I gotta crash, up by 5 hours from now.
PM me with your email , post some more info on the car you got, or please start up a thread over on the galore section, I would love to talk some more about the m46 as it is one of my favorite options.
There are many people here with great info on these cars.

:iagree: keep me in the loop too please Josh, and i am sure Alan would like to know along with Gordon.   383 would be rarer than any other M46 i would think, as 383 Barracuda numbers all together for 1970 were only 722 383-2 barrels and 1,118 383-4 barrel cars built and that is not many when you consider that total 318 production was 15,356 for Barracuda and 4,695 total Barracudas with a slant 6.  Out of all those cars (21,891) only 433 M46 cars produced, 415 were V8 and i bet not many were 383.   My car is one of the rarer 383-2 at 722 total built and is an M46 car.

I sure wish we could find out more about the car itself.  Would like to see pics of just how bad it is.
Those other 20 people must have been scared away from the car if it hasn't sold yet.

Glad someone is going to restore this car.  Do you have pics you can share with the rest of us??

Where are you guys finding the numbers data for the M46 cars? Is it true, only 21 convertibles? I'm close to buying this one......

Hey Finoke,

Jump all over that rag top buddy.  Send Barry an E-mail he does not do PM's, he should be able to tell you some numbers.

Finoke,

Do you have any other pictures?  I would love to know what you know about the car.  What's it gonna take to get the beauty?

They came with rally hoods.  Mine has it's original rally hood.  The convertible is not a clone from what I know.  That picture has been floating around for some time now and I think several other people know a good bit about the car.

I do not remember the date, but the raisin bran hood was an option on Barracudas about mid-model year.
