I'm not trying to be rude but
I have to disagree with you on that
I know for a fact from doing research on my car
M46 Cars Never Came With Ralley Hoods... :smokin:

OK.....

So, based on that statement, I can only assume that you have found the build records for EVERY M46 Barracuda made for the US, Canada and for export as well?

If so, we would all love to see that.

Simulated scoops.
A black out line down below that wraps all the way around the car.
A red and white or a blue and white reflective stripe that seperates the blackout from the body color.
That's pretty much it as I know.  Although I might have forgotten something.

I have yet to see a picture of the blue and white stripe.  Does your M46 car have any of the black out or the stripes left in the door jambs??  If it has any of the original stripe left Me and many others would be very appreciative if you could post close up pics of the colors of the stripes and the locations.  I have some pics posted somewhere if the Mods havn't deleted them yet.

We sure would like to see your car! :pullinghair: :useless:

Note that this was printed early in the year. At least one M46 car does exist with an elastormeric bumper despite what this says.  :2cents:

I dont mean to hijack the thread with my questions, but I have read all the posts of 70-74 cuda and I have some concerns.

You own 25 cars   :roflsmiley:, but in post you want someone to decode your car and in another you are a expert on how many were built  :chatting:, which I might add the number changed from only 2 and then to 12   :villagers:. You had several local guys interested in it, yet you could not take 1 picture and offer it here   :faint:, something about next week and chris angel :violin: then it was not for sale you were going to restore it . I think 1 member asked no more then 6 times to see a picture of this so-called car.

I just find it strange to have 25 cars and then your posting, it could only be me but where is the picture?

What was included in the m46 package?
Anything that was available for a base model Barracuda was available for an M46.  Rallye hood included.
Barry has even posted the correction to his attachment as their is in fact one known M46 with a front elastameric front bar and it is a Red car.
And i believe Josh's M46 is coded with the J54 which says: 11/25/69 on Barracuda, Gran Coupe, and Challenger as an Option !  And i am sure has this same Option on His M46.
M46 had some exterior trim used by the Gran Coupes plus other stuff shared between all models except the 'Cuda power plants and certain inside trim options.
If you look in E-body pics you will find a picture of my car in the thread called "CHOPS"

1.) If you don't believe
I own over 25+ cars those are words you will eat
Just like many others have that bought parts or cars from me.

2.) As for asking you to decode my car thats a joke.
All I would have to do is go to the 1970-74 E-body registry on my website or type in
mopar cowl tag  decoder on a search engine

3.) Posting pics of my car is up to me not you

4.) I never said 2-12

5.) If I don't want to sell my cars it up to me

6.) Go to my website htttp://www.musclecar-trader.com
and feel free to call me  651-458-5770

7.)  :blah: :blah:  :blah:

8.) If you don't want to know the info
I have on the M46 cars thats fine. It just makes mine more original then yours.

How on earth does it make your M46 car more original if you know something more about m46 cars than the others? It's like saying that your blue is more blue because you know that it is blue?

If I would know that the weather was rainy and windy during the day my car was built and the milk man was late for the poor guy who installed the suspension for my car, does that make my car more original and better than other peoples cars?

Unbelievable is right

I will share what I know about the m46 cars in time.
I have been in other groups where other members
just want the info you have and then get jealous
on what you have or know and they want

It took less then 25 Post here
That must be a new record...

Where did this thread start going haywire........................... :dunno:

We are all members and friends of the same board and share a commen interest in the cars we have and this is starting to get out of control.
I personally have an FT6 T5 383-2 M46 Barracuda, i had been searching for an M46 for the last 6 years now and landed one, just one year gone now.   I was looking for just anything M46, but i did land the car i personally find to be exactly what i was after.  I wanted anything that was not a Black interior.  I truely wish i could of found my car as a whole thing, but like many, the car was stripped out for parts as it was looked at as just a 383 2 barrel Barracuda and not a 'Cuda, in the eyes of many it did not hold any value.  Their are still many who do not have a clue to the significance to what an M46 is when you mention the option to different Mopar people in the know.
People just know Barracudas and 340 'Cudas, 440 'Cudas, 440 6 pack 'Cudas, and of course Hemicudas.  You mention codes and the majority do not know what the h3ll you are talking about.
A lot of people here on this board have learnt by what the few of us have been posting, and this would of been an eye opener for many a member.
I would go so far to say that at least 80 to 90%  of the members here would not have ever heard of the M46 option until the select few posted what their cars actually are.

I have nothing to hide and really would enjoy to learn more about the M46, it is very hard to learn anything.  I hope that everyone can get on with what is important and start getting along easier.  I for one would appreciate if you 1970-74 Cuda would take time out to help me and others to learn more about what we all have.  In particular towards what you know about the M46 cars please.

I can post as much about my own car if you are interested to know more.  I have nothing to hide and will gladly share information.  The only option i have with my car is that i have to replace things that are long gone from the car as it came as a bare shell, it is a long road ahead but it is what i wanted.  I am adding personal touches to my car but nothing that can be changed from a simple change of parts to make it as fender tag reads.

This is just my opinion on everything and hope we all can help each other from here on in, please. :2thumbs:
