    I got a HUGE surprize today.

    I submitted this about two years ago, just hoping to get in the small Pentastar section.  I almost gave up on getting in a magazine.  I had no clue I would get a full page.   :faint:   November 2008 issue, page 96.

    ...congrats...call/contact the publisher and ask for a few extra copies, they will usually send extras for free if you have a car featured...worth a try, worked for me several times

    I did not even think about that.  I have never done that before, so how do I ask him?  I mean, is there any specific way to ask or do I just be up front and ask for some copies?

    ...I would just call them, compliment them on their magazine, tell them how much I enjoy reading it every month, AND BEG, BEG, BEG....seriously, I always found them to be most generous...one magazine sent me 2 dozen copies, usually 6 is a good amount to ask for

    Thanks for the information.  I was looking for a number to call in the magazine and the only "Publisher" label is listed under the "Advertising" heading.  Would that be the right person, or am I looking in the wrong spot?
