Supercharger/Blower in a challenger question

Hi guys, im thinking about addint a 174 holley blower to my 383 its still a maybe. I was wondering if anyone has made this modify already, and will it fit under the stock rally hood. let me know guys any and all input

I think that Holley is a 6-71 roots type thing.

So no. I doubt very much it will fit under a stock hood.

A procharger from somewhere like The Supercharger Store will though.

The 174 Holley blower is a smaller blower than the 6-71 and is based on the GMC 53 series blowers I believe. I don't know if it will fit under your hood though. A friend of mine had one on a small block in a 69 Camaro and had a short hoodscoop on the hood and it fit okay. They are a pretty compact package, but you need to get the dimensions and do some measuring to get an idea.

I don't think it will fit under the hood. I would recommend contacting the supercharger store. they build kits for mopars to fit under stock hoods and have ebody kits.

I think the 174's are very small blowers. Almost not worth bothing with.

Once we had Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope & Johnny Cash. Now we have Obama, No Hope and No Cash!
