Same regulation body with stickers, probably.  They need to go back to racing the actual cars.  Maybe they could call it "stock car racing".

What a concept "stock car racing." Forcing the automakers to improve their production cars so they can be more competitive at the track. Wow, mind-blowing.

For stock cars, at least in some classes, I go to SCCA. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, there's no class that has stock American V8 vehicles.

The nose looks Challenger like, but the side shot looks like the same old generic COT stuff......      :walkaway:     Nascar isn't about stock car racing anymore, it's about the giant television contracts and corporate sponsorships.     :violin:

NASCAR bores me to tears........I really tried to like it and get into it but nope, not for me. Rather watch paint dry. Only NASCAR races I can stand are the circuit style, I wish they'd drive real races more often, where they actually turn right AND shift gears more than once a race and perhaps do one oval race for the Daytona once a year. As others have said, looks like all the other cars with a different yet slightly Challenger looking grille. Screw the corporate sponsors, bring back factory cars and you'll get twice the money from the viewers ratings alone.

:iagree:  I really like watching them on the road courses throwing those big cars around lefts and rights, braking and shifting!

I like the road course races also.  Living in the southeast, I have been to all types of tracks, from the big 2 1/2 milers at Daytona and Talledega, and the 1 1/2 milers at Atlanta and Charlotte.  But after seeing them all many times, none of them can touch the Worlds Fastest Half Mile at Bristol Motor Speedway for pure excitement for the fans.  43 of the best drivers in 750 HP cars on a 1/2 mile, high banked track.  I despise the COT, but at Bristol, I don't care what they drive, cause they haul a$$.  I am a season ticket holder and haven't missed a Bristol fall race in many years.  Bristol rocks....    :ylsuper:

:iagree:  Me too!  The circlular track although exciting to many, is not my cup of tea.  Road race courses are cool.  Nascar was cool when it was really stock cars that were gutted out because you could imagine your daily driver as the basis for one of those stock cars, but not no more...  :(
