has anyone used 17" mustang wheels?
« on: April 11, 2004 - 10:19:24 PM »
Has anyone run mustang wheels?  I am considering buying a set of mustang 17x8s all around or just in the front with 17x9s in the back.  The only issue is that newer mustang wheels have a 5.72" backspacing.  I am not sure if they would work without using spacers.  I have seen stock 17" gt wheels really cheap and you can get the 17" "bullitt" style wheels cheaper than you can get a set of 15" torque thrusts.  I think that this would be a low-buck way to get some pretty nice 17s with a vintage look.  Do you think that offset rear shackles would allow room in the back?  What about the front?
