L-code torsion bars
« on: September 10, 2008 - 12:56:11 PM »
I have unmolested '70 L-code Gran Coupe.According to Cuda-Challenger restoration quide I should have 0.86 ich torsion bars, part# 774 and 775 with orange stripe.

However, I have 0.88 inch torsion bars , part# 776 and 777. Stripes are green. Cuda-Challenger restoration quide says, that 318 cid cars used those bars.

I'm confused..

Current Vehicles:
Plymouth PPR Cuda 1970 489 cid
Plymouth GTX 1970 RS23V0E

Error on the assembly line? Someone special ordered lighter bars for drag racing?

Do you have your broadcast sheet? If so, what does it list?

Broadcast says 777 and 776. L-code car for drag racing - I think not.

Information from original broadcast sheets. So, just ask here.  ;)
