Barry,
It does say 14  :clueless:. It doesn't have the year 70 or 71 beside it. It is such a bear to try to scan the book. I'll try to get it posted later.

This is the best I can do without taking the book apart. I don't want to that since it is getting fragile.

Also I wouldn't trust the interchange listing that was posted. It says that the wheel well has a special radius and a production fender will not fit it. The only time I have seen an instance like this is when the wheel well is a separate part like G.M. uses.

That is the special radius "bulge" that I was asking other T/A owners to try and see.

Why would the production fender not fit the special bulge?

Ok, so according to the parts book, the 625 fender is for 1971 T/As with 14" tires.

None are known to exist, so the fenders must have been used on other cars?

But, not on 1970 T/As.............

After looking at the order sheets I think the F60X14 may be a typo. The order sheets only show a F60X15. This size was only available with the Hemi engine option in 71. It does not show it as an option for any other motors. So the fender in question may be a 71 fender made for the F60X15 that was only available with the Hemi. Such a thing as a Hemi fender may exist. At least so it seems by the order sheets.

So I may have to list this as a 71 Hemi fender on ebay.
Why would the production fender not fit the special bulge?

I think they meant that the 15" tire would hit the regular fender, because it didn't have the special bulge to move it further away from the tire.

I get a little confused because an f 60 isnt a real wide tire. Most of us run wider 15's on our cars now with no issues on the front. Where did these tires rub from the factory :clueless:

Since they were for 71, could they have been fenders made for 14" tires that had to be pushed out to fit the 15" that would have been on the T/A if they built it?  That would explain the bulge.

There wasn't a F60X14 tire available. Only a F60X15 was available. It would not be the first typo I have come across. That is why I cross referenced it as I do with anything that comes up strange.

Al maybe they had clearence problems with the tires due to the width at a certain height. I do not have one of the tire here to seewhat it does. I agree we run much wider and maybe lower profile tires today with stock fenders.
