« on: September 11, 2008 - 09:24:42 PM »
I just pulled a 1969 Hemi 440 6 pack out of a 69 dodge challenge. What is it worth?

If you meant to post this on April Fools Day, you are either to late or too early. ;-)

Hey allbeeze, :wave:

What would help us the most determining a fair market value will be to include all of the number stamping on the block, manifold and carbs along with your pictures.

I am withholding my laughter until I see that it is not a Challenger with a late 69 build date and a HEMI. My dad called our 70 Coronet 440 a 69 for years and years simply because the sticker on the drivers door had a build date of 1969.
1971 Challenger (OO==== ====OO) getting close!
1970 Challenger (OO########OO) long ways off

JUst to calrify it is EITHER a 440 or a hemi not both and Challengers were built in 1969 but they were the 70 models.

We shouldn't give this guy too hard of a time. He's probably just going off something somebody else told him. I just hope he didn't pay a fortune it.

Hopefully you didn't pay a Hemi price for a 440 block.  If this is meant as a joke, nice try. ::)

If the block was bored to a 4.32 then it would be a 440 hemi, wouldn't it?  ;D ???.
