Howdy from Vegas!
« on: September 13, 2008 - 09:43:12 AM »
Thanks to the advice I received in the WIW section, I am now a frightened owner of a '73 cuda. Its a BS car with an H, but the 340 is long gone and a 383 now powers the thing. I know  :useless: but it won't look like a car for another month. Anyway, this is how it looks now...

Congrats on the purchase.  Going to be great watching you get it put back together.

6PacCuda, I plan to spray it black. Hope you approve!

Goody, Welcome back to town. Yeah, I sold the Charger so this is my "new" toy. No big plans. Just want to get the body done and then drive it. The 383 will stay for now. Maybe toss in a cam to go with the existing intake and headers.

Welcome Tom !!!!

neat car you have there,  all black is very cool but what was the original color?  I'm guessing that yellow is not original..

It was originally Tahitian Gold (JY9). I just cant bring myself to spray it that color when the drivetrain is not numbers matching and the car is not exactly a big dollar ride.

Hey Goody, I forgot to tell you that I have a (mostly) original '79 Lil Red Express that will share space with the cuda!

Welcome, looks like it's going to be a great ride.  Are you going to keep the 383?
