Explain this to me please

Can someone explain to me the differences between the different body styles of Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler(A,B,D, etc.) I know the names of the models, but I don't know what bodies they are.

I'm certainly no expert, but this is what I have picked up over the years.  The A Body is the small car (Dart, Duster, Barracuda (66-69), the B Body is the midsize (Charger, Satellite, etc), C Body is the full size (Newport, 300, Fury), and then Th E Body was more of the sport coupe (Challenger, Cuda 70-74).  Hope this helps.

A,B,C bodies are the lines of cars produced, A- bodies are older barracuda's, darts, demons, dusters.

B" bodies are road runers, satelites , GtX super bee, coronet, etc, big platform cars

C" bodies are Fury, sport fury, Monaco,  etc.

I'm pretty sure you can go to Hardens muscle car world and they have them all listed under body types for parts ordering info
