I want one of these!

Check it out. One of these would make a AWESOME daily driver. Imagine a 2,000lb car with a cammed 5.7 hemi..... Maybe in like 5 years I can afford one :)

:iagree:  Not trying to hijack your thread, but the 2 guys who repainted my 'Cuda back in 1975 also did the car below.  Not the same car but it reminded me of the '33 you posted above.

Why stop at 5.7, go all the way with a 6.1 cammed up, 5 or 6 speed stick shift,    :bigshades:      :burnout:

Nice, but not a very practical daily driver even with the modern drivetrain.

Not enough nice weather here in the northeast-too much rain and snow!

FFR is local to me in MA.  Go to one of their open houses and they let you drive the cobra replicas. :wow:

Street rods can be ridiculous amounts of fun.  Two thousand pounds of car with 400 hp worth of small block and straight axle steering can get pretty "exciting" pretty quick.

A co-worker of mine purchased the Shelby Cobra kit version and put a 302 in it.  At 2600 pounds, it is a very quick car.  He has plans to get the engine near 400 hp in the future.  I keep telling him to just get a supercharger, but he says that if he did, he would kill himself.

It looks cool but some things about it are kinda lame.  Plastic body panels and six foot long rollbar hoops are not what the judges look for giving out the ridler award.

OK so you are not looking to get the top World of Wheels prize but a real roll cage and some steel panels around you for safety wouldn't be bad
