Looks good. It's your car, and you should do with it what you want. If you decide to go with another drivetrain, though, I'd keep the original tucked away somewhere.

thank you all for the warm welcome.
i was out helping a friend of a friends dad repair the barn and inside i spyed this little beast. got to talking with the man and he said if i would fix it up nice and help with other things around the farm ( which inculde the pig pens and chicken coupe rebuild) he would sell it to me for 2 grand. you all know how my summer has been so far. but well worth it. now for some real fun. yes it is the lower end 12 72 with a 318  75863 for miles and it ran the frist time after putting in a gas IV. so i drug her home and just been working on it for litte over a week now. any one know where to get some part for the window trim and roof top.

welcome aboard. good to see another e body fan finding the best site of its kind. good looking car you have there. i know you asked us our opinion on what to do with it, what are your thoughts? The only thought that i have had is put the challenger badging back where it belongs and off of the roof.

  Welcome to the site.  You did good on your purchase.  I like the white top, it goes well with blue.  The interior looks very clean too.  Good find!
