I love it! Looks like what the Lord Humungus would be driving on his way to church! How many ricers does it eat per day?  :aarg:

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The car was actually advertised as "partially restored" when I bought it (appalling! don't get me started!), and the sellor was horrified when I told him that the 273 was going away in favor of my 383. Things have gotten progressively crazier since then, with the ultimate goal of a "mid-season IMSA GT/Sedan racer", in flat black. So she will always look rough, even after the fenders are done. The ricers leave her alone now, so she eats little rice. Mostly she draws cops now, so I stick to the speed limit a LOT. I am waiting for the day a cop pulls me over, and asks me if I have been drinking. I will have to explain that the distinctive odor of alcohol is coming from my car, not me. That should be interesting. When the wing was first installed, I had a bunch of teenagers ogling the car. One of them said, "Nice Euro-wing!" I had to correct him, and explain a little NASCAR history. The additional fact of my wing's origin on the New Mexico State Patrol car, just floored them. The kid that accused my wing of being "Euro", apologized. Nobody seems to want to play any more, because the wing makes her look so sinister. A late Mustang played a little, but he was clearly out-classing me (very hopped-up! probably 400-500 rwhp), and it was just for fun. His kid was smiling in the passenger seat. Wait until you see 'Cuda Hunter's car finished! That promises to be a fun one.
