Useable flywheel?

According to someone on Moparts it was used from 62 to some time in the 90's and it's a 130 tooth flywheel used on BB and SB engines. Some of them supposedly have external balancing (drillings/scallops) for use on cast crank motors and heavy rod BB's.

It does have some cutouts on the back. To have it checked, take it to a balancer and have them tell you what the offset balance is and if it can be corrected.

Amount of unbalance:
4.22 in.-oz   340 cast crank
6.5 in.-oz     440 6-BBL
12.9 in.-oz   383-400 cast crank
12.9 in.-oz   440 cast crank
19.79 in.-oz  360 cast crank.

Maybe I should just spring for a 130 tooth sfi neutral balance flywheel from summit for your welcome home gift. They are only around 130 bucks squeaky, and it would be new.  Can you hear me baby bird?

I think I saw some at 440sources site for 100.  Then less than that on the Bag as well.  Hope you get this sorted out.  What was the flywheel sold as?

dont remember exactly but it was a the 10.5" big block 130 tooth flywheel in good condition. I dont blame FLMOPARS at all, she is just the leg worker after all and for all i know, it could have come from a chally, but maybe a 340 car. oh well, the lumps keep coming

That looks like a cast crank flywheel, now is it a '73 340 or a '74 360?
I'm still looking for a late '72 into '73 340 flywheel...
I threw out a '73 wheel, after cutting it the heat cracks still looked terrible..
I have my friends in my car now , but I have to replace his when I find one....

I actually need a 73 cast crank 340 flywheel. I was going to drill a regular one when I found one.  Does anyone know if that is what a 340 cast crank's flywheel cuts should look like?

i dont know what it is for. please let me know if i can hook anyone up with it and then i will get a different one. ask rabid scott, i am pretty quick at mailing things out with doing it from halfway around the world
