Talked her out of the emergency room trip :naughty:  She's warming up the Jacuzzi for me now.  That was funny Jim, and the concrete tasted like rock candy without the sweetener :icon16: I feel more sore by the minute.  But I'll be ok.

Wade, I drove the car out to Arab. I was gonna come out to your work but 6.45 a gallon stopped me

Al, you really have to watch yourself on those things.  They're meaner than they look!! :lol2:  A college friend of mine here actually broke his leg on a modified pit bike at the end of this past semester (at a grad. party & he wasn't even drinking :faint:)...We thought he was being a wimp about it all, but it really did cause some damage (enough for a plate & some surgery). :eek7:

Man!!

Ya gotta be carefull on those things. Remember what happened to Pete Conrad? And he was an astronaut..

Seriously, you should call in tommorow and get youself checked tonight.  Even if you are OK you want them to make sure the road rash is clean and the swelling is not serious.

Either way I think you might feel it alot more tommorow

Many years ago when I was a kid ( maybe 12 or 13 years old ) I had a yellow Yamaha 80 motocross bike.  I had a ball on that thing but had many little accidents, like leaning too far to the right or left and the foot peddle catching the pavement and POW... scrapes all over my arms & legs.   I was young then and my cuts healed quickly but if your not so young you'll feel it more and take longer to heal.  Better to be safe than sorry.

One more word of advice.   Make sure your sober when driving that thing!!

Alan, please be careful on those bikes.  I went over the handle bars years ago on an 80cc dirt bike.  I was not hurt too bad (scrapes and bruises), but it sure hurt my pride.  I hope you can get enough rest before you leave.  Glad to hear you are alright.

Wow Al,
I can just picture you and that bike flying all around your garage. Did the computer survive?? Would have definitely been an "America's Funniest Videos" winner. :clapping: Glad you weren't hurt seriously. Remember "Pinks" when Rich Christensen tried to take the crotch rocket to end of the track to see what was wrong with one of the cars and laid it down?? He got a good road rash too and a big dimple in his pride!! Have a safe trip and take an extra long soak in the hot tub!! By the way Al, I love the 3:91 gear. It does AWESOME!!!!! :2thumbs:

Al, where are you going to in ND? If you pass through Fargo give me a yell. I think we can find a place to have some food.
