Mini-Spare Tire's
« on: September 16, 2008 - 10:13:47 PM »
Found these a few months ago at my fathers farm and not sure what car they would belong too.
I know they are not from any cars I've owned.

The 1st one is a G78-15 Goodyear with a Chrysler logo on the rim.
On the tire it reads...Dot MPVV CUA 176.   Info by the stem reads  M56  4 (stem) 6 (penstar)

You can see more by the pictures I've attached

The 2nd one is a P195/75D14 Goodyear.
On the tire it reads...TPC SPEC. 303 ( or could be 808 )
Info by the stem reads  M23  3 (stem) 11 RG

Just wondering if these spare tires have any value to use for my 70 Cuda.
Thanks!

This 2nd tire could be for a Chev or Ford?

From my limited experience, I think those are fairly hard to come by. And, it looks like they're in pretty good shape. I've seen them for sale for $250.

The Goodyear one is for a later model Mopar; not an E body. The E bodies used BF Goodrich.

Thanks for that info 70challrtse.  I know nothing about these tires and was hoping to use one for my 70 Cuda.
Now I know 100% that it's not the right one for my car.   Too bad!

Which ones(later model)?  I wouldn't mind tossing one of those in the trunk.

I saw an article years ago about all of the differences of all of those and which ones to look for.  Maybe someone here (that never throws anything away)  has it?
