    Well, you learn something new everyday. Thanks for pointing out that pre-tension thing, I was about to try and straighten it out because I thought it was bent.  :screwy:  It's hard to tell in the picture but it doesn't sit flat.

    thanks for posting, but jaybee here has one for me...   I sandblasted the hinges today and the other spring looks just fine, so one will do
