My Challenger Before and After
« on: September 20, 2008 - 12:44:57 AM »
I was going through my pictures and found a picture of my 72 Challenger when I bought it 11 years ago this month. So I thought I would share with you what my car looked like when i brought it home and became a certified Mopar Nut. Sorry for the bluriness of the first picture but its a scan of a  4x6 print.

This is what I like seeing!  Beautifully done.  You guys take a POS e-body that someone discarded and neglected and left it for dead, and bring it back to life.  :clapping:

The blue looks great.  Much better than some previous posts showing "dead" MOPARs.

Thanks

Looks great, but what about all the in-beween pictures?

I do have them all, but because I built this car before I had a digital camera they are all physical prints. I can scan tehm and post them but it may take me a little while to do. This project was my first full restoration and I did it with my dad. Also should be noted that it was pulled from a wrecking yard in Cloverdale.

Here are the other Mopar's I've done, in order that I did them. Sorry but I can't seem to find any before pictures of the 70 Dart and the 73 Duster. The Duster had a 383 in it and the Dart had a 318 in it. The 70 Challenger is next, but it may take a couple of years to complete because it is in Redding at my folks place and I don't go up as often to work on the cars like when I was restoring the green cuda. I've also done a couple of Chevy's and hot rods, but they have no place here.  :roflsmiley:

Also , hope it was okay to use it - if not let me know and I'll take it down

I got room to post some more if someone wants theirs thrown up
