what do you do for a living?

just being nosey members! what do you do for a living? how long have you been doing it?

me, s/e, office products/it products/printing, 24yrs.

I have been a technician most all of my life and I am ASE master certified and have been since 1975.  I am an instructor for the MRAP program currently.  Gordon

Been saving lives with 911, police, fire, and ems as a communications officer for a police dept for the past 7 years.  Have been a volunteer fireman for the last 17 years. Rather be a paid fireman though.

Refinery Shift Superintendent. I actually run the Sunoco Marcus Hook facility on nights and weekends. I coordinate refinery wide activities when I'm on daywork.

After 9 years with the Coast Guard, I now work with the family business testing semiconductor and pharmaceutical fabrication facilities.

Offical title is "Senior Techinical Specialist", but what I do is write software for an engineering comapny.

I work in a machine shop running a GT-75 CNC Lathe, a couple Brown & Sharp automatic screw machines and a bridgeport. I also do cylinder head work, metal fabrication & welding and play guitar / guitar synth in a band most every weekend.
Once we had Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope & Johnny Cash. Now we have Obama, No Hope and No Cash!

Retired police officer (22&1/2 years). I'm a substitute teacher (student babysitter) in the high school and middle school now. I got tired of hanging around the house! :lol:

Master Electrician Self Employed for 6 years now, in trade for10yrs full time but around it since I was small(old man is a Sparkey too).  Been in the trade fulltime since I graduated College with a Lib art degree(legal+bus).  I really went there to keep playing Baseball and the state payed part of it due to Baseball scholarship.
