Anyone have Magnaflow Exhaust install pics?
« on: September 22, 2008 - 08:59:08 AM »
I'm in the middle of installing a 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust kit. I'm having trouble with locating a place to mount the passenger side muffler hanger.

Anyone have any pics of where they located the hanger?
:useless:

Thanks!!!

I've got the 3" stainless on mine but  don't have pics, maybe I can take some later. Just to let you know if your system is anything like mine they're not designed to make it to the tips. I had to cut it just over the rear and weld in some bends and straight pipe to get to the tips. Although it came out nice it was a pain. I also polished them all the way out front to back. Pete

I have just got my exhaust. And as you say its not a plug and play job. It could be super if you could post some pictures later.

These are the best I could get with it being on ramps. Don't ask for more cause I just took it all apart to repolish and touch up the black. Yes I do know I bottomed out the pan, damn roadwork. Pete

This is how I did mine. The rubber is 1/2" conveyer  rubber it does not tear.  The lower hole in the Stainless is for the bolt from the clamp to go through. Works great and no transfer of vibration. Maybe it will give you an Idea. Pete
