57 Chevy
« on: September 22, 2008 - 10:17:36 PM »
I got a line of this car yesterday. Having been out of work for 7 months I'm in no position to do anything about it it, but if it is what the guy says it is then it sounds like a heck of a deal, and if somebody's gonna make out I'd rather it be someone here.

This is the way it was told to me, but keep in mind that I haven't seen it or talked to the actual owner. 57 Chevy ... body has been frame off restored and painted black ... comes with all parts including numbers drivetrain ... all interior and all trim ... and a load of tools including a never-used plasma cutter. $10,000. Essentially, a big model kit with a load of tools on the side.

IF anyone is interested drop me a line by PM or e-mail and I'll try to check it out and put you in touch with the actual owner.

Which model? There is a big difference in value between the different models. Convertible, Sport-Coupe, 210, 4-door, etc.

One of our members e-mailed me about this and I got him the guy's number to check it out. It's apparently not in as good condition as I was lead to believe. Still, if anybody else wants to talk to the guy shoot me a PM.

I'm guessing a Bel Air if a hardtop but some people call a sedan a hardtop.
I didn't ask.
