I love the idea, but the execution failed miserably. A real Daytona wing might do ok, but it would really take a custom unit to make it right. I drew a 1970 Challenger with a Daytona wing on it, for a friend of mine. I also drew a "Superbird" version of the E-body 'Cuda on the same page for this friend. I will soon have to dig them out for 'Cuda Hunter, as he is considering modifications to his next project. When I find the drawing, I will see if I can convince him to scan it and post it here. So, had the wing been better, it would have looked cool. As it is, it looks dumpy and ass-heavy. I have seen attempts at this style in wood, plywood, and even aluminum and duct tape! That one deserved a place in the hall of shame. It needs to be real, or look real.
