    New Car, New Project, New Web Board

    HI, I am the proud new owner of a 74 Challenger.  The car is pretty basic but is numbers matching with build sheet and documented history, so I thought it would be a worthy project.  The car will eventually be the wifes primarly but, she wants it to a head turner :clapping:.  Anyway we are here in Tulsa Ok and this is not our first old car but is our first Mopar and I am ready to jump in.  Would love to meet other owners in the area so drop me a line if your around.  Thanks for the board.

    Welcome to the Wonderful World of Mopars and the best enthusiast forum on the Internet.  There are plenty of people here that will help you learn to speak Mopar. 

    Any more details about your car?  And because everybody else will give me a hard time if I don't say it:  :useless:  :bigsmile:

    Welcome to the site, Neal! :wave:  It looks like you'll be busy with that '74 Challenger, but it will definitely be a cool car once it's all finished. :2thumbs:  Judging by the rust around the vinyl top molding, I'd say you'll find some additional rust under that vinyl roof.  Fortunately, they're reproducing most of the panels you'll need and the quality is 10X better than they were when all you could purchase were the quarter panel skins (mine looked awful when I bought them 6 years ago).
