The project looks great and it always takes longer to fill and sand than you think it will. I primed and blocked my 70 Cuda 4 times before I was happy with the end result. Good luck with the paint and post pictures when ever you have a update.

Well, after months of wait at the painter ( which was perfect, free winter storage!! ) we stopped in yesterday to see the progress on the Cuda, and we caught the car just hours after coming out of the booth! A few pieces still need shot, but long story short is she will be home sometime next week!
Here are just a couple, I will post more when I get her back.
The pics don't due justice - this car looks great!

Beautiful paint man! Gotta love the FJ5. My first E-body was a 70 FJ5 'Cuda. Looks like you are making great progress, keep it up!   :2thumbs:

Thanks all for the encouragement, it has been a real trip so far.
Thinking back to dragging it to my house last year and to see it now, well this is a whole new start for the car. If I didn't know the work that went into it I wouldn't say it was even the same car.

Obviously a job like this is only possible with all of the help from this board.

I'm hoping to try and finish for Carlisle, then I would bring both cars, but with anything like this there is still a lot of work to do, so if not this year it will be next year!

Hey BB.  looks great.   Don't rush the reassembly, just take your time and do it right the first time.  I don't like   "do overs"............
