My 67 Barracuda Project

This is intended to be my high school car. We recently got it running, so here's a vid of the idle. Its a 273 with 318 pistons, polished and ported heads, and the obviously lumpy cam. If anyone is wondering it has a Summit Racing exhaust kit with Summit mufflers...we got the system because it was cheap, but i love the sound! It was recorded on a cell phone, so im sorry about the quality...it really sounds much deeper...im done rambling now

Aright!! Finally we move foward. Racing seats are in mocked. carpet should be in next weekend or the one after. new transmission, with lower 1st and 2nd gears and shift kit, is going to be picked up tomorrow morning. the custom (because 273's suck) stall converter has been ordered. and rear quarter window has arrived. So...what this all means is I should finally have a FUN daily driver.

This thing SLAMS into gear!!! In order to do a second gear chirp, just hold in in 1st until 3000rpms...no extra gas needed     And we love the lower 1st and 2nd, I recommend to anyone, especially people with small blocks, they definately help off the line and are plenty driveable...that was long....I put 27 miles on it today without going anywhere
