What years for forged crank 440s?
« on: October 02, 2008 - 10:08:39 PM »
Found a 440 for sale nearby me and before I go look at it, Does anyone know the last year that all 440s came with forged cranks? More specifically, did all 72s have forged cranks or was it like 73+ where only some had forged cranks? Thanks in advance.

Someone correct me I'm wrong but I think a few years back I read that the best forged cranks from Chrysler came out in 1971 and 1972.

The best ones were in the Max Wedge motors in the 60's.  :2thumbs:
